Bengal Golf

The Bengals had a great 2nd year, finishing the regular Varsity season with a record of 8-2 and a Junior Varsity record of 4-1

The Varsity played in 9 tournaments in South Carolina and Georgia during the season. This tournament season was highlighted with 2nd place finishes in the Spring Valley Pre-Season, Bobcat Invitational, Hartman Memorial and Trojan Invitational. The Bengals finished 3rd in the Bobcat Invitational held at Pincrest Golf Course in Bluffton. Notable individual finishes were: Hunter Watkins tied for 3rd in the SV Pre-Season, Shane Rogan tied for 4th at the TW Memorial, Shane Rogan 2nd at Bobcat Invitiational, Shane Rogan 5th at the Hartman Memorial, Shane Rogan 2nd at at the Trojan Invitational, Shane Rogan 2nd at the Joe Wyatt.

Shane Rogan was the 3A Region Champion held at Camden Country Club, Hunter Watkins finished 2nd at the Upstate 3A Qualifier, Damon Postal was named to the All-State Team, and Hunter Watkins finished 1st at the 3A State Championship to be the 2007 Individual State Champion.

The Junior varsity played in 2 tournaments during the season. The JV's finished 2nd in the SV Pre-Season, and finished 2nd in the Bengal JV Tournament. Josh Lorenzetti tied for 2nd at the SV Pre-Season and tied for 3rd at the Bengal JV Tournament.
