Congratulations to the Bengals! Winners of the 4A Region Tournament, which was held on 4/29 at Wildwood Country Club. The team will move on to the Upper State Tournament on May 9th at Woodfin Ridge Golf Club in Inman SC. The Bengals had 3 of the 5 All-Region Team spots with Jonathan, Bryce and Josh. Way to play Jonathan, with a 74 winning 2nd place individual! Congrats to Matt! Shot an 83 to round out the team score of 309.

| Bengals win Invite!
The Bengals bested 26 other teams to take home the top prize today on their home course. Columbia Country Club and the Blythewood Bengals hosted teams from across the state at the Bengal Invitational on March 12 and 13th. After the first round the Bengals were in a tie for first place with Easley High School and South Aiken was a close 2 strokes behind. Senior golfer Josh Lorenzetti led the team in the second round with a 68 and combined score of 140 to earn him the Tournament Medalist Trophy. Bryce Howell followed with an even par second round for a 147 for the 2 days. Bengals finished with a 5 stroke lead over the Easley team. Other players, Ben Jansen, 151, and William Hinson 153. Congratulations Bengals!

Columbia Country Club (CCC) is the home course of the Blythewood Bengals Boys & Girls Golf Teams. The 27 hole course's layout is one of the best in Columbia. You will not find a better fairways, bunkers and greens in the Midlands. The membership's generosity allows the team to practice, play matches and even host its annual JV Tournament.
